Karen Millen is returning to bricks-and-mortar retail after seven years, with three UK concessions opening in TFG stores during August 2026.
The British premium fashion brand will open its first concession at Fosse Park in Leicester on Friday 14 August. Two further locations will follow on Monday 17 August at Aberdeen’s Union Square and Liverpool ONE.
More concessions are due to open, although Karen Millen has not disclosed the number, locations or timetable for the wider rollout.
The spaces will operate within stores run by TFG, The Foschini Group, whose fashion portfolio includes Hobbs and Whistles. Karen Millen said the partnership responds to customer demand for an in-person shopping experience alongside its online offer.
Dan Finley, CEO of Karen Millen owner Debenhams Group, said: “Our customers want great fashion, but they also want to experience brands in different ways, and physical retail gives us another opportunity to do that.”
He said the TFG partnership would introduce Karen Millen’s occasionwear and signature craftsmanship to a new generation of customers, while building on its established recognition in British fashion.
Each concession will carry a curated selection centred on occasionwear and bestselling designs. The Forever Collection, which draws on Karen Millen’s 45-year history through enduring garments and signature pieces, will receive additional prominence.
Sizes 6 to 18 will be available across all participating stores, allowing customers to try on garments before buying for the first time in seven years.
Karen Millen was founded in 1981 after its namesake founder used a £100 loan to buy 100 metres of cotton and began selling white shirts to friends. The business has since developed into a premium womenswear label focused on constructed clothing, occasionwear and long-lasting design.
The retail return follows Karen Millen’s June launch of its Editorial collection, a higher-priced line built around precision, construction and fabric, with products ranging from £129 to £499.
The business sits within Debenhams Group alongside Coast, Warehouse, Oasis and Nasty Gal. The owner has also been extending those labels internationally, including through US availability at Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom.
The group’s latest financial filings showed that Debenhams Group’s gross merchandise value rose 0.5% year-on-year in the first quarter ended 31 May 2026. In May, GMV growth reached about 8%, while Karen Millen also recorded growth during the period.
The August openings give the group a new physical route to customers for Karen Millen, starting with three established UK shopping destinations.
