British footwear and lifestyle brand Duke + Dexter has promoted Connor Boon to Creative Director, marking a new chapter for the business as it continues to expand beyond footwear.

Boon has spent almost seven years at the company, joining as an intern in 2018 before progressing through a series of creative roles.

Most recently serving as Head of Creative, he has helped shape the brand’s visual identity across campaigns, collaborations and product development, including designing Duke + Dexter’s bestselling Wilde Penny Loafer.

In his new role, Boon joins the executive leadership team and will oversee creative strategy across product, campaigns and brand storytelling.

Commenting on the appointment, Boon said: “This brand has shaped my entire career. It’s been the foundation of everything I’ve learned and achieved, filled with incredible highs, challenges and defining moments that have brought us to where we are.”

He added: “We’ll be championing the artist-led approach that’s been woven into the brand since the very beginning. As Creative Director, my focus is on pushing that even further, exploring how art and human touch can be applied across everything we do.”

“We’re collaborating with exceptional artists from around the world to create products and stories that feel authentic, original and true to the world our customers live in.”

Under Boon’s creative leadership, Duke + Dexter plans to further develop its apparel and formalwear offering alongside its footwear collections, while continuing to invest in creative collaborations and brand storytelling.

The appointment comes as the British brand continues its expansion, with ambitions to establish itself as a broader lifestyle label beyond its footwear roots.
