SKIMS has opened its first standalone UK flagship store on London’s Regent Street, marking a significant step in the brand’s international expansion.
The 12,000 sq ft flagship occupies the former Ted Baker site at 245-247 Regent Street, following the announcement last year that the shapewear and lifestyle brand had signed a 10-year lease with The Crown Estate.
The store offers SKIMS’ full product range, including shapewear, underwear, loungewear, menswear and accessories, alongside seasonal collections and pieces from the NikeSKIMS collaboration. Designed by architect Rafael de Cárdenas, the space features open-plan interiors, sculptural displays and a large sculpture by artist Vanessa Beecroft.
The opening marks SKIMS’ first permanent retail store in the UK, where the brand has previously been available through wholesale partners including Selfridges, Harrods and END.
Jens Grede, co-founder and CEO of SKIMS, said: “Our flagship stores play an important role in how customers experience SKIMS beyond the product.”
“Opening on Regent Street is a significant milestone for the brand and reflects our continued investment in creating immersive retail destinations in the world’s leading shopping cities.”
Kim Kardashian, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, added: “London has always been one of the most inspiring fashion cities in the world to me, so opening our first UK flagship on Regent Street feels especially exciting.”
The London launch follows a period of rapid growth for the business. In late 2025, SKIMS secured a $225 million funding round that valued the company at $5 billion, fuelling further investment in physical retail as well as apparel and the NikeSKIMS partnership. The Regent Street flagship is one of a series of international openings, with a new flagship at Dubai Mall and stores also planned for Delhi and Mumbai.
Founded by Kim Kardashian, Jens Grede and Emma Grede in 2019, SKIMS began as a direct-to-consumer shapewear brand before expanding into underwear, swimwear, loungewear and menswear.
The Regent Street opening reflects the brand’s continued investment in physical retail, as SKIMS builds a global network of flagship stores to complement its online business and wholesale partnerships.
